Core Swim (previously Fin Swim!)

Core Swim is designed to help you develop more than one swim stroke, improve your efficiency and "feel" for the water, and develop a strong core fitness foundation.

Your Sea Hiker coaches, Peter and Tyler, will focus on some key pool skills. So, if you've always wanted to learn a flip turn, how to dolphin kick, or how to take your swimming to the next level in a fun and relaxed atmosphere, try Fin Swim this fall. 



And yes, we will be using fins for a part of each practice. Fins will be effective in helping you learn key drills in all four strokes and develop core strength, which is essential for swimming. And you will learn finswimming fundamentals that will prepare for monofin or fibreglass bi fin swimming, should you ever want to try that out.

Expect to learn a lot and have loads of fun as Tyler and Peter show you the keys to all around fluency in the water. 



Pre-requisites: Swim 25-50m with relative comfort.
